From the 6th April, the slightly unpopular Home Information Pack (HIP) must be available for potential purchasers as soon as your home is put on the market according to www.direct.gov.uk/homeselling . The Government have also added a Property Information Questionnare to join in the information overload already in the HIP. It’s a ncessary document and will form the HIP along with the Energy Performance Certificate, and information on flood risk for your area, as well as details on gas and electrial safety.
