Compare gas and electricity price and you could end up switching eneergy suppliers and saving hundreds of pounds a year. Many people in the UK stay with their current supplier because they think its too much hassle to switch from one company to another. Think again! It’s so easy to compare and switch online.

When I did it, I switched from Atlantic Gas & Electric to Eon Energy, and Eon took care of everything. All I had to do was give them the latest readings and they contacted Atlantic and got everything sorted. Easy.

You may even be supprised to get your first ever call from your current supplier! Now’s the time to let them know what you think of their service. If you pay by direct debit you may well find that your account is in credit, especially if you switch during the summer so make sure they send you a cheque, and keep chasing them until they do as they’ll hang onto it for as long as possible.
