Searching For Santa
It might still be ‘summer’ but you can book up your family trip to Lapland to see Santa in December. Take a day trip from one of eight airports around the UK and take the 4 hour flight to Rovaniemi.
Once you get Finalnd, you’ll find a pack itinerary waiting for people of all ages!
- Snowmobile and toboggan rides
- Husky dog drive
- Forest scooter driving
- Reindeer sleigh ride through the Magical Winter Forest
- Meet Father Christmas (special gifts for the kids)
- Christmas shopping
It’s a bit chilly over near the Artic Circle, so you’ll need to keep warm. The tour company provide thermal clothing to keep you warm, and the hot buffet lunch will keep you going through the day. Places are limited so book up early to get the best dates.

Hiya
Im booking to go to Lapland with the Out & About club in Wakefield was just wondering when we land at destination do we get our thermal suits then? or when we actually get to resort , not too sure what to actually put on for flight over, know it will be cold in December over here but not to the extreme,s we will experience in lapland. Please can you advise.
Thanks Jill

It depends on the tour operator you book with as to when you get your suits. Best to check with them
