I changed to British Gas for Elec so I have duel fuel with BG. The savings I have made on my electricity has been swollowed up by the increase of my direct debit for the gas. When I called to discuss this I was told pay the extra or have a pre-payment metre fitted which would mean I pay a higher tariff (thus no saving)or be disconnected. In this current economic climate wages are not increasing so how can anyone pay more to utilities? I have complied with the reccomendations made on the Energy Savers Report (again British Gas) so there is nothing more I can do to reduce consumption. What the heck do suppliers expect from customers – BLOOD
