Get a fixed rate mortgage until 2013 and 6000 airmiles when you switch to a Cheltenham & Gloucester mortgage. The fixed rate is 6.15% until 31st Octover 2013, and after that it moves to their standard variable rate of interest which is currently 7.00%

Once you’ve completed your mortgage application, you’ll get the 6000 airmiles, and an extra 50 miles every month you’re on the fixed rate. That’s 60 months at 6.15% and a total of 3600 airmiles. The original 6000 airlimes could fly a family of four to Nice, Barcelona, or Rome. The airmiles part is insignificant to the amount of interest you pay back, so it should be seen as a bonus if the mortgage deal is good for you.
