Get a guaranteed savings rate of 6.25% AER with the limited offer ‘Guaranteed Saver’ from Halifax. You have to deposit at least £2,500 to open the account,and you’re free to make as many deposits as you like during the 12 month fixed interest period.

You can make one withdrawal during the 12 month period and still get a great interest rate, but it if do need to take out money more than once, you can still get 5.25% AER if you make no more that 4 withdrawals, and keep £2,500 in the account.
